Cheers To Asian Beat 2005!

Youwsome. Gobling had a good time over the last weekend playing in Asian Beat 2005. We did our best, all of us. Fawaz, Muhairi, and Haris enjoyed themselves so much that they got sick- we hope you get well soon, man. You guys did a great job! We all tried to stay as focused as much as possible onstage, and we would also like to thank the panel of juries and the senior musicians who did not hesitate to give us tips to improve the band musically. Not forgetting our small-numbered but faithful crew/friends and family who were present to help and support us, gracias! To the other bands who were very friendly and supportive of each other during the competition yesterday, much respect to you all. The band Horizone played really well, and they deserve to represent Johor to the national level. Good luck you guys!

And of course, a big THANK YOU the crowd! There will be no show without you all.

Okay. The next plan. We are getting ready to go into the studio one more time to record more songs. Will do it v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y but carefully this time. We will set aside one year to work on this next release. We hope things will work out well.

There were also talks last night of doing another self-organized Underground Idol show in Countach Studio. Most likely, Gobling will call this Underground Idol III. We had done I and II earlier this year @ Countach, and although attendance numbers for both shows were not as high as expected, all of us really loved the steamy, foggy, smoky, and energetic atmosphere the bands and the crowd helped to create while the shows lasted. We got bands from KL and JB playing side by side in both earlier shows.
