1st Gobling Anniversary

Gawd time flies so fast. Gobling has been around for exactly 1 year today. Thanks to Allah who has made this possible. Our Lord is Great. Thanks to all the band members, for being able to cohesively form and shape their ideas and capabilities together, and for sacrificing so much for this band.

The band would also like to thank all their family, fans, and friends for helping out and basically supporting us all the way. We are humbled by your support, and we are really grateful for you being there for us. There are too many names to mention, but you know we know who you are.

What a way to celebrate our 1st anniversary- Gobling made it to the Asian Beat 2005 finals for the southern region. Thanks to Allah. As for tomorrow (the finals) we do not expect to win, but rather to play more live shows and gain more exposure. And Gobling excel purely at that. We just want to see people have fun seeing us play live. Ah, by the way, Asian Beat 2005 heats photos of Gobling were just uploaded to our Service Imagery page a few hours ago. Take a look.

Rockstardom shit attitude can kick its ole bucket and die, we are not into it, we are just into making music for those wanting to hear something different. We all have day jobs and/or classes to attend, and we are just poor sorrowful men trying to play what we want. If we play good, there are always better bands out there, so we'll just play the best we can.

Thanks to you too, Gobling is still around today, serving its delicacies. Let's pray that this coming year will be a fruitful one ahead. InsyaAllah.
